BEFORE YOU ORDER

Prior to your order we do recommend one step. This is to measure the depth of your cupboard/drawer door. We include fixings that are suitable for a 16mm width (your standard flat-pack cupboard door width), however best to check this and get in touch with us if you require some different length fixings. We can point you in the direction of where you can buy some, or we can provide custom lengths upon request.

INSTALLING

When you have unpackaged your beautiful new Leather Drawer Pulls, you are just moments away from finishing your project! Firstly, you can bend your drawer pull in half and then thread the Chicago screw post through the leather. Then you need to put the Chicago screw post through the hole (hopefully pre-drilled) in your cupboard/drawer door and attach the end screw into the back of the Chicago screw post.

Just note here that you won’t necessarily see the end of the Chicago Screw Post in the hole, so as you begin to twist the end screw it should engage the post and screw tight. The Leather on the Drawer Pull should pull in snug when you have tightened the end screw. And you are all done!

Tip; if you want to prevent the screw from loosening over time, prior to screwing the end screw into the Chicago screw post, you can add some clear nail varnish to the thread on the end screw before fastening into place.
